What Our Group Offers
Email us for specific information about a particular activity or function.

E-mail loop.

The email loop is open to members only, at no extra charge. This service will provide the bulk of our communication for the 2005-06 school year as it now stands. If you are a member of our group and wish to receive information about upcoming events, please join our loop so that you will receive this information in a timely manner. NOTE: Beginning in August, the email loop will be taking the place of our monthly newsletter until further notice.

Directory of Members.

Each fall, a directory of information is compiled from the forms submitted by members of the group. It is then distributed to each member family so that families can connect with other families of similar interests.

Annual Achievement Testing

The state of NC requires standardized testing annually for all students of compulsory school age. We as a support group offer testing to both members and non-members for a reasonable fee. The fee is designed to cover the actual costs of providing the tests and scoring. We use tests from CTB-McGraw Hill, which are included on the list of approved tests by DNPE. Testing is usually held in late March or early April, but *RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED*    We can NOT accommodate students for testing who have not reserved their tests. We simply do not have materials available.....so if you would like to test with us, you need to notify us at the earliest possible opportunity so that we can have adequate materials on hand.

Partnership/Mentorship

This program is being expanded for the 2005-06 school year. We will continute to pair new homeschoolers with a veteran homeschooler in order to provide encouragement, support, and information as needed. However, this year we will also be pairing veteran families with other veteran familes for the same benefits.
